Luis V. Rodriguez is a psychologist and social worker (retired) from Harlingen C.I.S.D. He received his bachelor’s degree from UTPA in Edinburg, his Master’s of Science in Social Work from U.T. Arlington, and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from St. Monica’s University. His social work experience includes service to Child Protective Services, Friendship of Women, Women Together/Mujeres Unidas, Valley AIDS Council, and Valley Baptist Medical Center. He is an advocate for treatment and prevention strategies that include family involvement and empowerment. He looks forward to bringing his experience in resources, networking, and teamwork to BHSST.
