RSS purpose is to increase the prevalence and quality of long term recovery from substance use disorder by mobilizing recovery support services. RSS aims to develop a community-based workforce that can successfully integrate recovery support services and support individuals’ efforts to initiate and sustain their recovery, expand the availability and quality of recovery-oriented supports and services within community-based organizations, and establish effective linkages between community-based organizations and recovery support organizations, substance use disorder treatment, and other sources of support within the community.
Assessment process to identify resources and goals across multiple life domains that are best suited for the participant; develop strength-based recovery plans; develop recovery plans based on the wants, needs, and interests of the participant; connect participants to community resources and develop strong relationships with a wide array of community resources; motivational interviewing; assistance in the process of contacting resources, scheduling appointments, transportation, treatment, employment, housing, positive social support, and education.
Peer Support Group Session Times:
Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 to 11:00 am & 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Spanish Session Tuesday: 9:00 to 10:00 am
All adult male and female individuals with a history of substance use disorders, including co-occurring mental health disorders, who are in or seeking recovery along with their family members, significant others, and supportive allies.
Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
