Analiza Amaya-Diaz is a Pharmacist employed by Valley Baptist Medical Center/Tenet Health. She received her B.S. and Pharm. D. and completed a specialized residency in ambulatory care. Upon completion of the residency, she accepted a position as clinical manager for the pharmacy department at Valley Baptist Medical Center and has remained in that capacity to the present day. She is also the Regional Director for the University of Texas College of Pharmacy Externship Program. She is married to Rolando Diaz and has a son, Noah, in college. Her background provides knowledge and resources in drug education. She supports youth programs that address peer pressure. She looks forward to her participation in community events, promoting program services, and “putting out statistics in the community’s ear about drug abuse”.
