Prevention - Prevention Resource Center

The Prevention Resource Center 11 (PRC11) is a program of Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas. PRC serves as the central data collection repository for region 11 and the developer of a yearly Regional Needs Assessment (RNA). To facilitate the development of the Regional Needs Assessment (RNA), PRC identifies local community and county data collection resources in Region 11. PRC also identifies local community, county and regional training needs and resources.

Some of the services PRC provides include: identifying regional data resources; share data to support the central data collection repository efforts; collect local, county, and regional data and resources to develop a RNA; shares data and data resources with community stakeholders; information dissemination through the RNA to regional stakeholders; provide technical assistance/guidance regarding the use of the RNA; serves as the substance abuse prevention training liaison in Region 11; and conducts SynarMinors and Tobacco retail visits.
