On Monday, May 3rd, Youth Prevention program coordinator Juan H. spent the early afternoon working with C. E. Vail Elementary students creating new butterfly gardens!
The students learned the importance of choosing native plant species to help our pollinator friends, while also working on communication skills and the importance of being responsible for our environment.
