LPC/LCSW
(1 contract position in Pharr)
Job Description:
- Provide substance abuse treatment, referrals, and management services.
- Implement evidence base treatment services to include assessments, follow ups and provide individual and group counseling.
Requirements:
- Master’s level counselor with lCDC, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license.
- Two years’ experience providing substance abuse treatment services.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- Must have a current TX driver’s license, reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
Quality Assurance Specialist
(1 full-time position in Pharr)
Job Description:
- Keeps all quality assurance efforts, documentation and related discussions confidential at all times.
- Reviews the following documentation: networking logs, backup documentation for monthly reports, participant/client files, meeting notes, and other supportive documents in accordance with quality assurance tools.
- Complete and submit quality assurance reports in a timely manner.
- Present QA reports to Quality Management Review committee members as scheduled.
- Conducts observations aligned with quality assurance tools to capture fidelity of evidence-based practices, strengths, areas for improvement, and training/resource needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent and experience working with office software programs including spreadsheets, databases, word processing and graphic presentation software.
- Strong organizational skills and experience working in social services, conducting presentations, networking in the community or schools.
- This position requires an LCDC and/or is eligible for the LCDC license and agrees to test to obtain. Some travel required within service area and must have current TX driver’s license with current liability insurance
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
PROGRAM SPECIALIST
(1 full time position in Harlingen)
Job Description:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and uses effective communication via phone and email ensuring duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
- Provides support to Quality Assurance Specialist in efforts such as reporting, data entry, gathering of documents, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social/Behavioral Science with at least two years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational skills and experience working in social services, conducting presentations, networking in the community or schools.
- Some travel required within service area and must have current TX driver’s license with current liability insurance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Coalition Specialist
(1 full-time position in Pharr)
Job Description:
- Establish partnerships with community organizations to increase coalition support and membership.
- Develop list of service providers and social service agencies in the community, to include location, hours of operation, services, and availability of culturally and linguistically appropriate staff.
- Make personal contact with organizations to identify opportunities to conduct information dissemination activities to include presentations and alternative activities.
- Review and update strategic plan on a quarterly basis referring to changes in the needs assessment.
- Schedule and conduct presentations in support of environmental strategy/applicable laws/ prevalence rates to gain community buy-in.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Sociology or equivalent.
- Experience working in social services, conducting presentations, networking in the community or schools or working with at risk populations is preferred.
- Some travel required within service area and must have current TX driver’s license with current liability insurance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Community Health Worker
(1 full-time position in Harlingen)
Job Description:
- Coordinate with Lead Navigator to provide resource education and training.
- Contribute to developing and disseminating project related awareness messages and materials. Provide opportunities for screening and testing for HIV and viral hepatitis.
- Coordinate testing of individuals for HIV and/or HCV, and provides appropriate referrals for care.
- Visit community centers and other organizations distributing literature related to the project to establish community linkages specific to the project.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience working in social services, networking with social service agencies, or working with at risk populations in the community or schools.
- Traveling required within the service area.
- Current tx driver’s license, reliable transportation, & liability insurance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
