Youth Recovery Community Services – YRC

YRC staff will work to support and increase the prevalence of long term recovery from substance use disorders of youth between the ages of 13-21 to include those with co-occurring mental health disorders and the families. Program design will ensure that recovery- oriented values and principles include Choice of Self Determination by providing participants the opportunity to select from a menu of supports and services that correspond with participant personal interests and recovery goals.

SERVICES PROVIDED

YRC staff shall provide a wide array of non-clinical services and supports that helps individual to initiate and sustain their recovery. All services will be provided in a culturally, linguistically, and developmentally appropriate manner for participants, family members, and supportive allies.

TARGET POPULATION

Primary population is adolescents and young adults ages 13-21 in the general community. Secondary population is the family support system within the community.
